Day:1 Arrive Delhi

Morning Meeting assistance on arrival and transfer to the Hotel.

After leisurely breakfast, visit of Old Delhi and New Delhi,

Old Delhi An ancient walled city. Here you will drive pass Red Fort, the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire. Rajghat, the memorial site of the Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, and Chandni Chowk, the bustling and colourful market of the old city.

New Delhi This city designed and built by the british in the 1920's a city of wide boulevards impressive Government buildings, green parks and gardens. First you will visit two monuments from Delhi's past Humayun's Tomb and qutub Minar. Then your drive takes you along the ceremonial avenue, Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate.

Day:2 Delhi - Sikandra - Agra (203 kms. / 4½ hrs.)

After leisurely breakfast, Drive to agra enroute visiting Sikandra: the last resting place of the Mughal Emperor Akbar, is only 13 kilometres from the Agra Fort. Akbar's tomb reflects the completeness of his personality. The vast, beautifully carved, red-ochre sandstone tomb is set amidst a lush garden. Akbar himself planned his own tomb and selected a suitable site for it.upon arrival check into the hotel.

Day:3 Agra

After leisurely breakfast, morning visit Taj Mahal , and Agra Fort

Taj Mahal:Agra is the medieval city of the famous 17th century masterpiece Taj Mahal, which of course is the most splendid of all buildings - perhaps the most perfect architectural monument in the world. It was built in the memory of the beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal of one of the greatest kings Shah Jehan of the Mughal Empire.

Agra Fort Agra is not only famous for Taj Mahal but the impressive Mughal Red Fort known as the Agra Fort. The story of the Mughal Empire in stone, Built by Emperor Akbar and successively enriched with places and marble pavilions. Afternoon visit Itmad-ud-Daulah

Itmad-ud-Daulah Empress Nur Jehan built Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb, sometimes called the Baby Taj, for her father, Ghias-ud-Din Beg, the Chief Minister of Emperor Jahangir. Small in comparison to many other Mughal-era tombs, it is sometimes described as a jewel box. Its garden layout and use of white marble, pietra dura, inlay designs and latticework presage many elements of the Taj Mahal.

Day:4 Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur ( 232 kms. / 5½ hrs.)

After leisurely breakfast, Drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri: The Mughal Emperor Akbar built Fatehpur Sikri about 35 km from Agra, and moved his capital there. Later abandoned, the site displays a number of buildings of significant historical importance. A World Heritage Site, it is often visited by tourists to Agra.

Day:5 Jaipur

AMBER FORT: After breakfast ,proceed to Amber Fort the ascent to the fort will be on elephant back/jeeps,Amber fort,the formal capital of the royal jaipurs.

11 kms from Jaipur - A marvelous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and ramparts reflected in the Maota Lake below. The magnificent old citadel, a labyrinth of massive walls and towers, shrouds an exquisite marble palace, pillared and carved glimmering with a million tiny mirrors, which create tantalising reflection effect. The ascent to the fort is on gaily caparisoned, painted elephant, passing through the ancient main gate where Maharaja's of Jaipur have entered for four hundred years. Afternoon visit Jaipur City

City Palace Museum - an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal art. The Museum is resplendent with its collection of robes of royal princes, carpets, an armoury of old weapons, miniature paintings portraying court scenes, battle scenes and procession.

Jantar Mantar (Observatory) - an accurate Observatory built in 1726 AD :

Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five storeyed wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes and spires.

Birla Temple - situated just below Moti Dungri, the Birla Lakshmi Narayan Temple has a huge complex and is built in a contemporary style.

Day:6 Jaipur - Alsisar

After leisurely breakfast, Drive to Alsisar.

Late Afternoon Explore surrounding town and village with there painted havelis and temples.

Day:7 Alsisar - Mandawa - Bikaner (190 kms. / 4 hrs.)

After leisurely breakfast,drive to Bikaner enroute visiting Mandawa Mandawa are the ethnic Haveli of Jhun Jhunwala, the kanoria Haveli and of course the ghaneriwala Haveli all of which are impressive and reflect the rich art and craftsmanship of Rajasthan.There is a also fort in the centre of the town. Thakur Nawal Singh built this fort and in the western side of the fort is the goenka haveli. Adjacent to goenka Haveli is the exquisitely designed Nandlal Murmuriya Haveli which is renowned for its sculptures. The Thakur Dedraj Tarmal, Lodiya Haveli, Neowatia, Laduram, Chokhani are all renowned for there colourful frescoes. There is also the Harlalka Baoli,the cemetry and shiv mandir which is conspicuous with it is cristal linga. After visit continue drive to bikaner on arrival check into the hotel.

In the Evening explore old city by rickshow ride - Havelis, Local Market and Jain Temple.

Day:8 Bikaner - Jaisalmer (320 kms. / 6 Hrs.)

After leisurely breakfast,visit Junagarh Fort,Founded by Raja Rai Singh, is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies. It also has windows of varying designs which land it a graceful dignity. A an enormous archway leads to the jormal temple in a specious courtyad. Tar mandir is the royal chapel where royal weddings and births were once solemnised.

After visit continue drive to jaisalmer.

Day:9 Jaisalmer

After leisurely breakfast,sightseeing tour of jaisalmer city: The citadel city built in 12th century is an architectural dreem in yellow sand stone lyimg in the lonely silence of the thar desert, would provoke wonder, at what could have induced jaisal, a Bhati prince, to settle right in the heart of a desolate desert. The forts and palaces and sevral superbly carved jain temples in and around jaisalmer are old reminiscent of a gloriously history. From the balconies jutting out from either side of the lanes, almost touch overhead.Patwon ki Haveli, Nathmalji ki haveli,Salim singh ki haveli are some of notable mansions. Afternoon Excursion Camel Ride at Sam Desert 45km. west of jaisalmer, are the proper sand dunes and popular with camel safaris. this jaisalmer's nearest real sahara like desert.the ripples on the wind caressed dunes create enchainting images a photograph's delight. Day:10 Jaisalmer - Jodhpur (305 kms. / 6 Hrs)

After leisurely breakfast,drive to jodhpur, on arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon visit jodhpur city : The home of the Rathore rulers- the princely state of Rajasthan. A High 10 km.long wall protected the well fortfied city. Within stands an imposing fort on a low range of sandstone hills, about 125 mts. above the surrounding plains.

Visit Mehrangarh Fort founded in 1459 A.D. by Rao Jodha (after whom the city is named) the fort is intricately adorned with long carved panels and latticed windows of exquisite design in red sandstone.

Jasawant Thada- an imposing white marble cenotaph built to commemorate the acts of bravery and generosity of the rulers in 19th century.

 

Day:11 Jodhpur - Narlai ( 160 kms. / 3½ hrs.)

After leisurely breakfast,drive to Narlai, on arrival check in at hotel.

Day:12 Narlai - Ranakpur - Kumbhalgarh ( 70 kms. / 2 hrs.)

After leisurely breakfast,drive to Kumbhalgarh enroute visiting Ranakpur Famous for the quadruple jain temple dedicated to prophet Adinath, the whole structure has 84 domes and 1444 pillars.

After visit continue drive to kumbhalgarh, on arrival check into the hotel.

Afternoon visit Kumbhalgarh Fort: It was Built by Rana Kumbha in 15 century, The fort has perimeter walls that extend 36 kilometres in length. Claimed to be the longest in the world after "The Great Wall of China". Over 360 temples are within the fort. 300 ancient Jain and the rest Hindu. Day:13 Kumbhalgarh - Udaipur ( 90 kms. / 3 Hrs.)

After leisurely breakfast, drive to Udaipur enroute visiting Eklingji there are 108 temples surrounded by a high fortified wall, the whole complex is known as Sri Eklingji Temple and has been a holy site associated with Lord Shiva since ancient times. the present structure however, date from the 16th century.

Nagda close to Eklingji Temple, down a rough country rode is belived to have been established by Nagaditya the fourth mewar king descendant of the Guhil who was born in a cave in the aravali mountains.There are sevral temples dating back to the fourth centyry A.D.

After visit continue drive to Udaipur, on arrival check into the Hotel.

Day:14 Udaipur

After leisurely breakfast,visit Udaipur City In the most midst of this romantic fate ridden land you come Udaipur, beautiful city of lakes, Palaces and fountain. In the shadows of dark green hills, Udaipur's three lakes-Pichola, Rang Sagar and Fateh Sagar are shimmering jewels from the opal surface of which rise fairytale white palaces. Maharana Udai Singh sought shelter here from the Mughal hordes and then tarried to fashion a city out of the silent vale. Visit the

city Palace Museum-grandeur and intricacy stroked all over in Granite, Marble and Mosaic displayed in the sparkling white filigreed balconies and windows, ornate arches and cupolas atop magnificient octagonal towers.

Jagdish Temple Built in 1651 A.D. one of the oldest temple in Town dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

Sahelion-Ki-Bari The Spectacular Garden displaying the unique life style of the royal ladies who once lived in the palace.

Day:15 Udaipur - Chittorgarh - Deogarh ( 143 kms. / 3 hrs.)

After leisurely breakfast, drive to Deogarh enroute visiting Chittorgarh Fort One of the most formidable forts in India, Chittorgarh Fort is the symbol of the Rajput valiancy and supreme sacrifice. Standing majestically on a steep180 m high hill, the massive Chittorgarh Fort is approachable through a 1 km long zigzag road. The road leads through seven gates to the main gate Rampol. On the climb between the second and third gate you see two chattris (cenotaphs) built to honor Jaimal and Kula- heroes of 1568 siege by Emperor Akbar. Surajpol is the main gate of the fort.In that you will see Vijay Stambh (Tower of Victory), Kirti Stambh (Tower of Fame), Rana Kumbha Palace, Padmini Palace, Kalika Mata Temple.

After visit continue drive to Deogarh, on arrival check into the hotel.

Day:16 Deogarh - Pushkar ( 150 kms./ 3 Hrs )

After leisurely breakfast, drive to Pushkar, Upon arrival check into the hotel.

In the evening visit

Brahma Temple This is probably the only important Brahma Temple in the country where the Creator of Universe is worshipped with immense faith. Located on the Brahma Ghat of Pushkar Lake, the temple has a four faced idol of Brahma installed in 1809.

Pushkar Lake This lake is believed to have appeared all by itself when the lotus flower fell off from the hands of Brahma. The lake is surrounded by 52 ghats and 400 temples. A holy dip in the water of the lake, especially during Kartik Purnima, is considered extremely auspicious to purify human soul. Today, after a bad monsoon the water of the lakes dries up which takes away half the attraction of Pushkar city.
